If you need anything further, please let me know.
While this department values accuracy, we are very careful to follow
established and accepted names, terms, etc. For example, we follow
National Geographic's style for names on maps because of our partnership
with that group. Some people or groups may disagree with that, but is
it the standard we follow.
Does this person/or group
have a particular concern about a Glencoe Social Studies program? If he
or she does, we'll be happy to correct any errors in the next printing
of the material.

to know that we publish Asian studies books in the humanities and social
sciences for the world market. Our books are distributed to libraries, research
institutes, universities, government institutions and the retail channels. One
of our objectives is to promote a better understanding of Asian countries in
the international community.
We would like to publish books about South
Korea, especially about its relations with Japan, vis-a-vis East Sea/Sea of
Japan and Dokdo/Takeshima, among other outstanding issues. However, these must
be academic works based on rigorous research and written in or translated
into English. Please let me know if you have any suitable Korean authors (who
write in English) or suitable Korean books which can be translated into English
for our publication.
Would your government be interested in sponsoring
our publication of academic books about South Korea, or in buying copies of
